I finally found a quilt!

Today, I'm going to talk about some of my thrift finds. I was so happy to come across an old quilt. It does have a tear and is pretty worn, but it is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to get a quilt that I could use outside in the yard when S is out and about so I won't have to carry her all over the yard and so she won't get chigger bites. These are some of the fun squares I like on the blanket. And I'm not sure what was used for padding, but it gives a bit of texture to the quilt, but little padding. Maybe it was a summer quilt?

Also, I found some clothes for Mr. M and S. Some of S's clothes look brand new, maybe only having been washed once. And I found a Gymboree coat for S that is in really good condition, for $3.00! I was very happy! Now, I just hope it fits her throughout the winter. Oh, we also found a tennis raquet that Mr. M loves and so we've been "playing tennis," with any ball available - basketball, baseball, but no actual tennis ball. Funny. :0)

Finally, it has come to my attention that some people have not been able to leave comments. And I do love to receive comments; I've felt that I've been blogging in a vacuum for the past few posts. So I'm trying to figure out what to do. Will let you know soon.
