What's cooking - the knit's that are on the needles

From left:
husband's sock (it's in black and in stockinette, so it's boring to photograph which is why you probably won't see it again for a while::formerly hoodie for Mr. M, now sweater for S::bookmark
Sizzle is still around, just not being worked on right now.
Funny: Mr. M has taken to climbing into his old Entertainer/exersaucer, now S's. He just climbs in, sits there and plays with the toys on it. He also has taken to building with blocks. S is scoot/crawling and already getting into a lot.
Oh, some of you may remember the crib bumper I made for S's crib. Well, this is just a note to report that it has held up well and I really do think it was an extremely cost-effective way to do a crib bumper. The only thing I would do differently would be to add ribbon to the top and bottom to tie to the railings so that it won't slump over quite as much.

OK, are you ready for a long story that may not be entertaining?
Caitlin was a very difficult baby. She cried a LOT that first year. We went to Toys R Us around 6 months. I was looking at the Exersaucers which were new at that time (11 years ago). We pulled one off the shelf and put her in it. She immediately displayed a huge smile and was actually giggling. Greg looked at me and said 'I don't care what it costs, put it in the cart.' Definitely her all time favorite baby toy. I get a warm feeling at the mention of the word 'Exersaucer' :)
You are such a great mother. The bumper is beautiful. I never made anything that great for my kids when they were babies.
I love that little jacket. It's going to be really pretty in that green.
